TUESDAY, May 20: 1-4
grades from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: We’ll continuemath practice by using
Accelerated Math in the small PAL computer lab and handson mathematics
activities to meet the new common core state standards. Students will have lunch and then hour-longart and music or science lessons in the afternoon.
May 22: 5-8 grades from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. Activities: Math focus this
year continues with evaluating Math skills andmeeting Common Core Math
State Standards; Middle School students are requiredto attend the
morning Math class and are invited and encouraged to attend theArt and
Drama class in the afternoon.
Lunch may be orderedfrom the KMS lunch room… rice bowls are featured on Thursdays along with adelicious salad bar. Please check outthe menu when you arrive… you might be pleasantly surprised! Lunches cost: $2.75 Fifth
and sixth gradersmay be surprised to learn that much more variety and
choice is offered at themiddle school level lunch room.

there is a 2-hour late start on a Block Class day,then classes will be
cancelled. No advisor meetings will be held until the NKSDschool day
